Privacy Policy

This policy explains what KinScript collects, why, and who else handles it. It applies to the KinScript app and to the service behind it. The app is operated by Mohamed Mohd. You can reach us at gooddigitalplanning@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your account
- Email address, used to sign in and to send password-reset codes.
- Password, stored only as a salted hash. We never store it in plain text.
- Sign-in key. The server stores only a hash of it. Your device keeps the key in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore.
Your scans
- Photos you upload, kept on our file storage so you can view the Original and reopen scans later.
- Transcribed text and the layout and confidence data used for the Clean view and the low-confidence flags.
- Modernized text, created only when you open the Modern view.
Credits and purchases
- Your page-credit balance.
- A record of each verified store purchase: platform, product, transaction ID, purchase token, pages granted, and time of verification.
Password resets
Reset codes are stored only as hashes and expire after 15 minutes.
Security and abuse prevention
Our servers count recent sign-in and password-reset attempts, keyed by IP address or by account, in a short-lived store (Redis). These counters are used to slow down guessing attacks.
Photo-processing consent
The first time you open the app, you agree to photo processing. That agreement is recorded on your device only.
Who we share it with
We use these services to run KinScript. Each receives only what it needs for its job.

We don't sell your information. We don't use advertising or third-party analytics in the app.
How long we keep it
- Your account, photos, transcripts, and purchase records are kept until you delete your account.
- Password-reset codes are kept as hashes after they expire.
Deleting your account
In the app, go to Home → Delete Account and enter your password. This permanently removes:
- your account and email address,
- all of your scans, photos, transcripts, and modernized text,
- your password-reset codes.
Purchase records stay on file with your account link removed. We keep them so that a store receipt can't be credited twice. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel that in your Apple or Google account settings.
Your choices
You can delete your account at any time from the app. To ask about other information we hold, write to gooddigitalplanning@gmail.com.
Children
You must be at least 13 to use KinScript.

We'll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
