Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the KinScript app and service, operated by Mohamed Mohd. By creating an account or using KinScript, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe. Each account can be signed in on one device at a time, because signing in on a new device ends the session on the old one. Don't share your account.
Page credits
- New accounts start with 3 free pages.
- Each page transcribed uses one credit. If a transcription fails, the credit is returned to your account.
- Page credits are non-refundable, except where the store or the law requires a refund.
Subscriptions
- The Reader Subscription gives 60 pages per month and renews automatically, at the price shown, until you cancel.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. Apple or Google confirm the price and terms at purchase.
- To cancel, use your Apple account settings (Subscriptions) or your Google Play account settings (Subscriptions). Deleting your KinScript account does not cancel a subscription.
- Pages added by each subscription renewal are added to your balance and do not expire while your account exists.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload images you don't have the right to process, or images that break the law;
- share your account, or use another person's account;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service;
- try to get around page credits, purchase checks, or rate limits.
Your content
You keep the rights to your photos and the text produced from them. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Accuracy
Transcriptions are produced by AI and can contain mistakes, especially for unclear handwriting. Check important text against your original photo. Words KinScript isn't sure about are flagged for that reason.
Availability
We provide KinScript as it is and as it's available. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the app. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.
